Ethan Sanders is the Director of Operations of the Arizona Business Roundtable (AZBRT). He previously served as Director of Operations in the Washington D.C. Office of Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-CA). Prior to this, he had the honor of serving as Deputy Scheduler in the Washington D.C. Office of Arizona’s Senior U.S. Senator, Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ).
During his time in Senator Sinema’s office, he helped manage the Senator’s operations during her negotiations on landmark legislation such as the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the Respect For Marriage Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and more. In 2024, Ethan was selected for the Unsung Hero of Capitol Hill award by The Ripon Society and The Franklin Center for Global Policy Exchange alongside a small, bipartisan group of scheduling and operations staffers.
A native of rural Oklahoma, Ethan began his career as a Deputy Field Organizer on the reelection campaign of Congresswoman Kendra Horn (D-OK) in Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District, one of the most competitive races of the 2020 election cycle. He also worked in the Congresswoman’s district office during the beginning months of the COVID-19 pandemic, helping constituents in the Oklahoma City metro get assistance with federal agencies.
Ethan is excited to join AZBRT and work to protect and grow Arizona’s economy.
