Pam Kehaly is President and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (AZ Blue). Leading over 3,100 employees, she is committed to the mission of Inspiring Health and Making it Easy. Under her leadership, AZ Blue offers innovative programs, services, and health insurance products to more than 2 million members.
With more than 30 years of experience in the health insurance industry, Pam has developed an expertise in collaborating with doctors and hospitals to drive results. Since joining AZ Blue, Pam was recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the state’s “Most Admired Leaders”, made Arizona Business Magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Arizona” list, was named “Leader of the Year” by the Arizona Capitol Times, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Northern Arizona University for her outstanding contributions to healthcare.
Pam’s leadership has earned BCBSAZ recognition as one of Modern Healthcare’s “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” and named “Most Admired Company” by Arizona Business Magazine. As Arizona’s leading health insurer, AZ Blue focuses on creating member-centric products, standing up for affordability, and doing right by Arizona’s communities.
Pam holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Stanislaus. She serves on numerous boards, including the Board of Directors for the Arizona Business Roundtable, Arizona Commerce Authority, Greater Pheonix Leadership, HealthCorps Inc., National Institute for Health Care Management, Phoenix Police Reserve Foundation, The Translational Genomics Research Institute, UNS Energy, and on the Advisory Board of the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics at the University of Southern California.
